Reaching Mobile Ad-Friendly Shoppers

This report was originally published by Nielsen Scarborough, May 17, 2014: Reaching Mobile Ad-Friendly Shoppers

13 percent of mobile Americans are “mobile ad-friendly shoppers.” But who are mobile shoppers? How can brands and companies best reach this customer – traditional marketing? Social media? What influences their attitudes toward their shopping habits?

Local consumers insights firm, Scarborough, produced this infographic that shows how brands can reach their audience through mobile media (their smartphone and/or tablet) and traditional media (newspaper, radio, television).

“…better understand Mobile Ad-Friendly Shoppers; adults who used smartphones or tablets in the past 30 days for shopping and agree they’d be willing to receive ads on their phone in exchange for services, or disagree that ads on phones are annoying.”
